Paul McCartney + Michael Jackson = Say, Say, Say

La increíble voz de Michael Jackson y el inmenso talento creativo de Paul McCartney se unieron en algunas ocasiones para brindarnos verdaderas obras de arte pop, por primera vez en el muy recordado The Girl is Mine (que también fue un hit) y al año siguiente (en 1983) en la canción cuyo video encabeza este post, Say Say Say.

La música es muy alegre y optimista, como un pop debe ser, y el video nos cautiva con la historia de un grupo de bandidos/estafadores/artistas-ambulantes que como una especie de robin hoods modernos dan a los más necesitados algo de lo que roban, todo eso ambientado a principios del siglo veinte. Es interesante ver que la esposa de Paul, Linda, hace el papel de su compañera y la hermana de Michael, LaToya (nunca supe escribir bien ese nombre) como una guapa(??) de la que se enamora el Jackson.
